Xintong Li is a choral conductor from China. She completed her undergraduate studies in choral conducting at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in China. She has many years of experience in choir ensembles, earning multiple gold medals in international choral competitions. As a conductor, she organized and participated in many performances of Modern Choir of Shanghai Conservatory of Music during the undergraduate years. As the assistant conductor of the Guangdong Experimental Middle School Choir, she led the choir in participating in several international competitions, including the Rimini International Choral Competition in Italy, the World Choir Games, and the Singapore International Choral Festival, winning multiple gold medals. She was also awarded the Best Young Conductor Prize by the jury at the 14th Rimini International Choral Competition in Italy.
In addition, during her undergraduate years, she served as assistant conductor for several operas, including the modern Chinese opera “Mother”, the operas “The Surging Red Stream”, “The Story of Half Quilt”, and “Under the Ginkgo Tree”. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in choral conducting at the Eastman School of Music, studying under Dr. William Weinert. |
