Nathaniel Peets (he/him) is a first-year Master's student in Choral Conducting at the Eastman School of Music where he studies with Dr. William Weinert. Nathaniel was recently the Assistant Chorus Master for the Hillman Opera's production of Die Fledermaus. He also participated in NY-ACDA's Conducting Gesture Masterclass last fall. Nathaniel has also recently sung in a number of professional choral ensembles, such as Harmonia (Path of Miracles) and Voices. He currently serves as a Choral Scholar at Christ Church Pittsford. This year, Nathaniel looks forward to conducting the Eastman Repertory Singers and directing BWV 69 as a part of Eastman's Bach Cantata Series. Additionally, Nathaniel serves as President of the Eastman Student Chapter of the American Choral Director's Association and Personnel Manager of the Eastman-Rochester Chorus. Nathaniel grew up in Webster, NY, and graduated this spring with a Bachelor's in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia where he studied voice with Joe Dan Harper. |
