Audrey Rivetta is a mezzo-soprano currently pursuing a master's degree in choral conducting at The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. A native of New Haven, CT, she studied violin with Patrick Doane at Music Haven and was a member of the Elm City Girls' Choir for nine years before attending the University of Connecticut, where she earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in music. Now studying with Dr. William Weinert, she has also studied conducting with Dr. Jamie Spillane, Dr. Rebecca Rosenbaum, and Tom Brand. Prior to moving to Rochester, she held several leadership roles in CT including Music Director of UConn Rubyfruit and Voicebox, and Conducting Fellow of The Vernon Chorale. She is currently a Choral Scholar at Bethany Presbyterian Church, and sings professionally with Voices and Saecula Singers (New Haven). Audrey serves as one of the graduate conductors of the Eastman Repertory Singers, Personnel Manager of the Eastman-Rochester Chorus, and Graduate Advisor of Eastman's ACDA chapter. |
